The Look of Surprise!

There were lots and lots of fun gifts that the kids received, but these photos capture their excitement and surprise!

Erica's Pretend and Play School Set

Kyle's Superman wallet and excavator

Caroline's new butterfly sleeping bag/water bottle/flashlight

Trevor's personalized Gerber feeding spoons. He was SO excited!

The Aftermath...

Christmas Eve

We had fun making cookies together. Later that night, the kids received new PJs, and were excited to wear them to bed. They worked together to leave milk and cookies out for Santa! He ate them all and even left a note telling us that he took some carrots out of the fridge for the reindeer!

Caroline's Turn

Here's Caroline enjoying her turn at holding her baby brother! As you can see, he is enjoying it too!

Christmas Reenactment

On Christmas Day, the kids acted out the Christmas story for us. Gail and Stan came over for dessert so the kids did it again, towels on their heads and all! It's a short video, but you can get the idea. They had fun! Trevor was sleeping, so Baby Marie filled in!

Pooh Corner

Can you guess who is who in these pictures? They were all taken on the same day of their lives. Have fun figuring it out and let us know what you think!

Kids and Lights!

Kyle loves his little brother!
Erica lost her 7th tooth this week. Her tooth fairy, Flossie came to visit!

This is the best home light display we've seen! It is at the home of Erica's 3 year old preschool teacher. They start putting the lights up in October. This picture doesn't do it justice, but you can get the idea! We stopped by to say hello last night! The kids LOVED it all!

Our kids do not typically fall asleep in the car, so we were surprised tonight when Caroline not only fell asleep, but had her feet up the entire time!

Sweet Caroline

Here's our "Sweet Caroline!"

As Caroline was getting ready for bed on Friday night, she somehow fell and put a gash in her chin. It's hard to tell in this picture, but it was very deep and over 1/4" long. After consulting the after hours nurse, I took her to the ER to possibly get stitches. After seeing how busy the ER was and considering how long we'd be there, I opted to leave and buy some butterfly bandaids. A nurse there gave me some steri-strips as I was leaving, so I used those instead, but didn't really know what I was doing! Then we decided she should go to the pediatrician's office today, so off we went. Her doctor was on call today and cleaned it out really well before putting good adhesive and steri-strips on it. It will heal well but leave a scar.

We went to some friend's annual Christmas party tonight. Caroline wanted to stay as far away from Santa as possible, but posed for this picture so that she could get a candy cane!

Erica, the Big Sister

Erica adores her new baby brother, just as she has Kyle and Caroline. Trevor smiles at her a lot, which she thinks is pretty special!
I was burping Trevor and Erica decided to feed and burp her baby Marie. Greg thought it made a cute picture!

Erica took this picture of Trevor and Marie!

Catching up!

Well, here it is - Friday - and I haven't posted on the blog for a week. It means we have to put the pictures on the computer more often, and with an almost 6 week old, the motivation and time haven't been there. I'll try to do better for all you faithful blog checkers out there!

Last weekend we had errands to do and decided that we should take the kids to the Children's Museum up in Seattle. Here are some pics from our visit.

Nutcracker

Erica and I went up to Seattle to see the Nutcracker on Friday. We met up with her friend Kennedy and her mom. It was a beautiful performance and we plan on doing it again next year! Erica says that she loves Clara from the Nutcracker!

Best Friends!

Happy Kids!

Here's Trevor in his Candy Cane outfit again - this time all smiles!

His neck is so strong already, although this pose didn't last long!
We put up our tree this week. Here they are...Our Four Kids!
