I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day!

Erica was one of three dancers (she's in the middle) in this part of our church Christmas program. They danced to the song, "I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day" by Casting Crowns, sung by the choir (which was based on a poem written by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow in 1863... titled "Christmas Bells"). They all did a beautiful job and had a wonderful director!

We are so proud of you Miss Erica!

Sweet Caroline's 5th Birthday!

Happy 5th Birthday to our Sweet Caroline!

Caroline's special day began with a gift of a new princess outfit! It's a cute turquoise top and brown pants with a matching rose on them.

Next, came her special breakfast of french toast sticks and syrup!

She chose some special (Lofthouse) sugar cookies with frosting to share with her little class at church.

At lunch, we surprised her with a birthday donut!

This was a huge surprise to Caroline!

In the evening, we celebrated at Red Robin.

We all shared the sundae and Trevor got really into his ice cream!

As a final surprise for the birthday girl, we shared that we were taking all of them (besides Trevor) to see Disney on Ice two days later!

The next day, we celebrated both Caroline's 5th and Trevor's 2nd birthday with our longtime friends, the Oldrights and the Traynors.

That night at Awana was Caroline's night to do the flag salute and lead in prayer!

Stay tuned for Disney on Ice and special birthday party pictures!
