Kyle's Surgery

Kyle had his long awaited surgery today. I'll save the details for email to preserve his privacy. Here are some pictures!

We woke him up out of a sound sleep to get him to the hospital nice and early. Here he is nice and cozy in the car, wearing his new T-Ball hat!
Here he is in his hospital garb!
He had a cool Mickey Mouse television in his room. He loved being able to control the remote all by himself!
The nurse gave Thomas the Tiger his own hospital bracelet. He was able to go into surgery with Kyle!
Being weighed - 49 pounds!
Here he is having his blood pressure checked.
Still waiting to get going!
The nurses gave him some crayons and coloring pages. He especially liked the Thomas the Train pages!
On his way to the operating room!
When we saw him in the recovery room, he was enjoying an orange popsicle (his choice) and watching Scooby Doo!
Hey cute sleepyhead! He really enjoyed this "car" toy on the wall. We couldn't leave until he had had some time to enjoy it!
A wheelchair that was just for Kyle! He loved it!
He was very hungry after the surgery, so we took him on a date to the Ram for lunch. They were so sweet to make him exactly what he wanted for lunch - a turkey/ham/cheese sandwich!
We arrived home around 3pm and he spent the rest of the day resting and enjoying all the attention one gets after they have surgery! We love you little Buddy!
