Happy Thursday! How did we get to Thursday already? Wasn't it just Sunday, and Erica was playing soccer?!
Here are those strange little things that grow to 600% their own size. I think they are done growing! Now they are drying out on the kitchen counter and are supposed to go down to their original size. We'll see about that!
Caroline's new phrase is, "No, Iwanndoit!" That includes filling up her sippy cup with water from the fridge.
Her hair had been braided all day and she loved how "poofy" it was!
At breakfast this morning, we heard a loud sound out front and saw a big red firetruck! It looked like they were just servicing or checking the fire hydrant, as the firemen were in no hurry to get anywhere. Kyle and Caroline quickly put on their jackets and shoes and headed outside. Once out there though, we found that the firemen must have been in our neighbor's home, because they were nowhere to be found.
A few minutes later, the ambulance showed up, but we didn't see them when they left and have no idea what happened. We don't know those neighbors at all, as they are very private people. Needless to say, the kids loved the activity on our quiet culdesac.
Today was also Erica's field trip to see a production of If You Give a Pig a Party, which is an adaptation of the book by Laura Numeroff. I was able to go as a chaperone. It was great!
