And the week went on....

As if the week wasn't busy enough already, Erica had her school performance of "Oliver" on Thursday night.

Here she is in her classroom with her teacher and friends before the performance. Here are the orphans on the risers where they sang during the show.

We were sitting across the entire gym, so this video is a little bit grainy. The sound is great though! What do you do with a kid named Oliver?!

Kyle saw Mrs. Peabody there and gave her one of his famous hugs! She was there to see her own kids in the show.

Kyle was so excited to see her. Here he is telling her all about his loose tooth..."It's in the front on the bottom in the middle!"

Here's our little Orphan after the show.

Here they all are, living on the street...

And then there was Saturday...

We had a very busy, but productive and fun day today! We started the day by getting four new tires put on the van after discovering that our brakes were not failing, but rather that the tires needed replacing! From there we went to Penneys to get Erica's picture taken. Then it was off to Fry's to do some returns. There is a great park nearby (Coulon) that we love, so we spent some time there on this beatiful northwest day. The kids enjoyed the playground for awhile and then ventured into the lake (Lake Washington) to cool off. We'll be more prepared with swimsuits next time! From there, it was off to IKEA for more returns and dinner. We used a bunch of free kid's meals coupons and paid only one dollar for dinner for all of us!

This video is mostly for our kids. They didn't have a great view of the tires being put on the van, so Greg took a little video for them. Fun, eh?
