Happy Birthday Erica!

Erica turns SEVEN on Tuesday, and for her birthday party this year, she decided that she wanted to go to tea! She invited three of her good friends and they had a lovely time!

Each girlie girl received a pink boa and a necklace to wear during our tea party. It was so warm though, that they didn't end up wearing the boas, but rather hung them on their chairs!

It was an extremely hot day here today so we used her boa to tie her hair up to keep her cool!

Erica received a fun little individual chocolate cake (which we all shared!) and everyone in the tea house sang Happy Birthday to her! There was a little sparkler on there as the candle and Erica touched it before it cooled off - all caught on camera. She recovered quickly and we continued our nice time together!

I brought a birthday balloon to tie to her chair and when we were all done and playing outside, it decided to blow away! It's a tradition in our house to get a birthday balloon on your birthday, so it was a little bit sad to see it fly into the sky! The girls all had fun deciding where it went though. Some of the things I heard were China, Alabama, California, Quiznos, etc.!

Tomorrow night it's on to the Rainforest Cafe with cousins Gail and Stan, so be on the lookout for more updates!
