Tuesday is our regular park day during the summer. Today, we went to one park to play with friends and then zipped up to a different park where we attended a children's theatrical performance of “The Musicians of Bremen.” The kids really enjoyed it, although the sun was beating down on us and we were all mighty toasty! (Yes, it does get hot here in the northwest!)

Our refrigerator is broken!
Last Saturday, we realized that things in our refrigerator were not staying cold. Milk was souring, frozen waffles were defrosted and other signs led us to call Sears for service. Thankfully, we have a maintenance agreement with them, but they can't come out until next Saturday! So we are camping in our kitchen with coolers!
